FOOD WITH INTEGRITY

On most days, You will find Sharleen and Aimee get up early and make the short drive to Yass Country Kitchen. Then, they begin to make fresh baked goods, including indulging pastries, tarts, muffins, quiches, pies and more. 

The Girls use freshly grown Herbs right from their own gardens. Breads are also locally baked and often still warm when they arrive at Yass Country Kitchen. Not only is local sourcing better for our planet, but our patrons can also enjoy healthier and tastier dishes as a result.

All of our pizzas and other menu items are available as eat-in and takeaway options. They taste good no matter where you end up eating yours!

Recycling is also a big part of our operation and green philosophy here at Yass Country Kitchen. All glass, tin and cardboard we use are taken to Yass Valley Council’s recycling centre. Furthermore, we typically haul all the day’s materials there in one trip in order to minimise fuel consumption. We feed our scraps to chooks, not pigs or a landfill. We also use newspapers and coffee grids as mulch, which is much more environmentally friendly than using black plastic.
